Keep personal numbers private
Use the shared Public Pool now or a dedicated business caller ID after the virtual-number feature launches.
Webbcall is preparing dedicated virtual numbers that businesses can use as outbound caller ID. Number searching and purchasing are not available yet, so this page explains what is available now and what is still coming soon.
Webbcall already supports outbound browser calling and caller ID selection. Dedicated virtual-number purchasing remains disabled until launch.
| Capability | Status | What that means |
|---|---|---|
| Public Pool caller ID | Available | Outbound calls can use a shared Webbcall number pool. It is not your dedicated business number. |
| Verified number you own | Available | Verify an eligible number you control, then select it as caller ID for outbound calls. |
| Dedicated virtual number purchase | Coming soon | Searching inventory, choosing a number, and monthly provisioning are not currently enabled. |
| Inbound calling | Early access | General inbound calling is not launched. Businesses can use the early-access form. |
| Call forwarding, voicemail, and SMS | Not available | These capabilities are not part of the current Webbcall product and are not promised on this page. |
When Webbcall enables the feature, availability and pricing will come from live provider inventory. The final launch scope can vary by country, number type, and local requirements.
Choose a country and number type, then search the inventory available at that time.
Check the monthly price and any address, identity, or regulatory requirements before purchase.
After successful provisioning, select the dedicated number when placing an outbound browser call.
Webbcall is designed for lawful, wanted calls. Businesses remain responsible for consent, caller identification, and local calling rules.
